Album: Oops!... I Did It Again
There is no mistaking it: Oops!... I Did It Again is a classic and iconic pop album. As such, it can be forgiven for being a bit, shall we say, top heavy? After track 7, aside from one exception, the songs become much less essential overall. “One Kiss from You” has the unfortunate distinction of kicking off that trend with as pleasant albeit forgettable track that might have felt more at home on …Baby One More Time, though even there it may not have been on par with the other of its album cuts. Still, Britney is in excellent voice here, and her own self-harmonizing makes it clear why she has often played a large role in providing her own backing vocals.
