Considering how quickly Circus was pulled together, it’s quite remarkable how prolific the era was, offering no fewer than six bonus tracks when compiled across different editions of the album. Spears co-wrote this cartoonish take on surf rock, which on one hand feels like a sibling to “Mmm Papi,” and on the other like a lesser version of Spears’s unreleased track “Dangerous.” One wonders if Miley Cyrus didn’t have this on repeat when she was inspired to write her Spears duet “SMS (Bangerz).” A fun song, but rightfully designated “bonus track” status.
