The opening chords of this obscure Britney tune make it sound like it could have been a sequel to “Sometimes” (and in fact both were written by Jörgen Elofsson). Production-wise, it would have fit in nicely with other Oops!... I Did It Again track and may have helped to pick up the pace of the album’s ballad-heavy second half had it been included. You can tell that Spears had modified her vocal delivery since her early ballads, and her then somewhat new mid-nasal flair fits well with this track. Relegated to an international B-side, this gem is likely only known by Spears enthusiasts, but casual fans who appreciate her early pop hits might be pleased to stumble upon it.
