Supposedly intended to be the first single before “Gimme More” took that honor, the Danja-produced “Get Back” would have fit in better with the standard Blackout tracklist compared the other bonus tracks. It’s got the trademark wobbly bass and pitched and distorted vocals. Its slowed chorus during the middle eight before the tempo kicks back up to speed is one of the crowning moments of the song – though one wonders how that might have played on the radio had this song gotten the single treatment. A great addition as a bonus track, we’re still glad “Gimme More” was ultimately chosen as the lead single.
